Eyewitness reports now are that the Shooter in the Fort Hood incident yesterday, already known to be of muslim decent, shouted out “Allah Akbar” as carried out his incredibly despicable mission. If This is the case then it would mark the second Islamic Terrorist Attack on American soil since President Obama took office. His continued appeasement and compromising of the very principles that founded this nation will break this country.

It is a product of sympathizing with the enemy and Worrying about how we treat the very people who are looking constantly for the next chance to stab us in the back. The Country is less safe and becoming increasingly vulnerable. The give you an idea what Obama thought of the incident he spent more time in his speech yesterday talking about AARP endorsement of the health care bill than he did on our troops. It’s absolutely unpresidential, it’s a total disregard for our military families, and he should be put on the spot to explain himself.

Don’t expect anything to come out of it though, the media was just a bad as our president on the matter yesterday if not worse. It was amazing, yet so predictable, to see how quickly stories were published that were intended to get people to sympathize with the grievances of the shooter. Stories pointing out that maybe Hassan was bullied or maybe he was disgruntled about his pending deployment. Well with more information coming out today its becoming more and more clear that those stories were far from reality and even Fox fell into that trap.

Bottom Line –

This event does look like it was a premeditated terrorist attack. Eyewitness reports of this man yelling out God is Great in Arabic acts as a pretty good indicator for me as to the motives behind this incident. Not to mention the fact this man was being investigated six months ago for praising the shooting of two soldiers at a recruiting station in Arkansas, which was also linked to terrorism. It’s nice to know that praising a terrorist attack wasn’t enough to take any real conceivable action against this sick man. Thanks Barrack, not only is your stimulus not very stimulating but our line of defense isn’t very protective when you continue to undermine it.

Thousands of people gathered on the Capital Steps in a “kill the bill” rally to protest the health care bill slated to be voted on in the house later this week. People have made very clear their outrage with the bill on the table and hope to be heard by those who purport to represent them. This coupled with the warning shots during election night on Tuesday, people are hoping is sufficient to deter enough people from supporting the bill. In addition a barrage of phone calls have been hitting the capital switchboard line from concerned Americans about the potential consequences of this bill passing.

Among some of the more controversial measures is a public funding for abortion. The bill includes a monthly fee paid by all enrolled in the government system that will be put into an account in the US Treasury to be used to fund abortions. Now the last time I checked, people don’t need abortions for personal well-being/health care. All of us will effectively be paying for the daily murder of hundreds of innocent Americans a day. Pelosi has announced that no final decision has been made on whether public funding of abortions will be in the final bill, but right now the text sits in plain english on the current version of the bill in the house. If you would like to look it up refer to line 17, p. 110, section 222 and line 16, page 96, section 213.

It’s amazing to me that kind of language is included in the bill when the overwhelming majority of Americans oppose the public funding of abortions. I would love to know who wrote the bill, and would be even more interested in who read this bill. I’m sure the latter will be a very short, if not non-existant list.

I encourage all of you to be very vocal about the need to smite the progress of this bill. The number for the capital switchboard is (202) 224-3121. It is your duty as a citizen of this country to speak out on issues involving the future of this country and the future of your children. If you sit around and remain silent, then the day your liberty is gone you will have no right to complain. Stand up for freedom and liberty while you still have it because liberty lost is not easily regained.

I continue to warn people not to get excited about the results of the most recent election. There is a conservative backlash but is it strong enough. As long as we have people like Lindsey Graham in power countering any progress made by conservatives today and he’s not the only one but he has been very vocal about it in recent days.

The morning after Republicans lost an upstate New York House seat, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) warned that conservative activists will bring destruction to the Republican Party if they drive out moderate candidates across the country.

“To those people who are pursuing purity, you’ll become a club not a party,” Graham told POLITICO in the Capitol Wednesday. “Those people who are trying to embrace conservatism in a thoughtful way that fits the region and the state and the district are going to do well. Conservatism is an asset. Blind ideology is not.”

Keep in mind that Lindsey Graham is a man who has completely abandoned conservative principles on so many key issues whether is buying into the phony global warming issue or his vote to confirm Sotomayor, the activist supreme court nominee.

So I ask this question, is it conservatism that is moving away from the republican party or is it the republican party that is abandoning conservatism?

That question seemed to be answered convincingly as the whole campaign in the 23rd district of New York unfolded. We had a republican nominee who dropped out of a 3 candidate race to endorse the democrat over a competing conservative candidate. To me that means that some republicans or people who purport to be republicans are closer to the left. Their difference between the mainstream of the republican and democrat parties is blurring to the point that you can almost call it a one party system. It is effectively destroying the republican party contrary to Lindsey Graham’s claim that so-called blind ideology is what is destroying the party.

What exactly does Graham mean by blind ideology?

As a representative you have two choices. You can take a stand on principle or you can compromise principle and take a stand based on popularity. It seems to me like Graham is attacking those who stand on issues because it’s the right thing to do, not because it appeases the other side. He is lashing out at the uncompromising nature of what he calls the right-wing fringe. I don’t if he’s been paying attention but it seems like this so-called fringe is becoming more and more pre-eminent. If Graham is suggesting that the way to revive the republican party is through appeasement, then I call on him to step down because he has served beyond his purpose and is only hurting this country and the people of South Carolina. It was eight years of appeasement that landed the democrats the majority in both houses and it will be appeasement that puts the final nails in the coffin of the once great republican party.

We learned this week that a convicted rapist who was release from prison in 2005 after serving a 15 year sentence has now been upgraded to a serial murderer. Yet again we have another fail for our justice system which seems to be greatly compromised by political correctness and oversympathising with those who do not deserve it. Within four years the man has been involved in the apparent murder of as many as a dozen women in his Ohio Home, which he transformed into a foul-smelling morgue.

I know one thing, if this man was given proper justice the first time he was convicted there would be at least 11 more people alive today.

In order for an incident of this magnitude to even conceivably happen, it requires a compromised justice system. There are so many road blocks that should be able to prevent such a gruesome series of murders in whole or in part. The first of which would have been the most obvious: how the justice system dealt with him following his brutal rape that slated him 15 years. He should have been at a minimum been given a life sentence, although for such a despicable crime i would not oppose the death penalty for an individual like that because of how much I detest that crime.

So fail on the way he was sentenced for his first crime.

Secondly, the was a story back in April published in the news about three girls who all disappeared within the same general neighborhood of this man’s home. If that incident wasn’t good enough to clue law enforcement into searching the area, I don’t know what would be. Not to mention, the local neighbors were complaining about a strong aroma that resonated from the man’s house for quite a long time. Seeing as this man had to be in the sex offender registry upon his release in 2005, its amazing that no one was suspicious enough even to check up on his property until a woman came out saying she was beaten and raped by him in October.

Another Fail for not recognizing the developing situation.

Finally, This man was literally within four years of his release from prison. He whats he doing being released without some sort of permanent house arrest. It’s completely disgusting that one can think that 15 years in a jail cell will do anything to change the heart of a rapist. How many more times does this have to happen before people start being a little more concerned about the rights/safety of law-abiding citizens. It’s always the criminals rights we are worried about. It’s never about the dozen people strangled to death by this subhuman monster until after the fact. This is what I mean when I say we are living in an upside down world. My point continues to be made everyday, only we the people of this country can respond to it, though.

Just how strong is the conservative backlash going to be? This election may begin to show us some signs of it. We know people have been fed up. They have displayed their disgust in tea parties all across America in the last several months.

The question becomes, How many people are taking that frustration to the polls today?

In the events leading up to today we have already been clued in on voter sentiment in many states. One of the glaring examples would be the race in New York’s 23rd congressional District where a 3rd party conservative candidate effectively squashed out the republican counterpart who was by all definitions moderate at best in her political views. As a result she found herself polling in third place and subsequently decided to drop out of the race. This puts some pieces in place that I believe can help the republican party in the long run and it is to let go of the so-called moderates in the party. History has shown that when a truly conservative candidate is run, they can win big time.

Another race worth noting is the New Jersey gubernatorial race between Corzine and the republican challenger, Chris Christie. Christie has been polling nearly neck and neck with Governor Corzine in what would otherwise be considered a very liberal state. A major factor in this race really is a microcosm of what has been happening at the federal level that last several years. The deficit in New Jersey has gone up every year and consequently taxes have as well. Christie, although he seems to be a fairly liberal republican, has said the magic words in his campaign “cut spending.” On that issue, He is right because as soon as you stop wasteful subsidies you open up a window for the next step, lower people’s taxes. A win in New Jersey for the republican party just a year after Obama was elected would be a big one.

One thing is for sure and the Republican Party should consider this advice if they wish to continue to be a viable player in the future. You can not go wrong with the constitution. It is the foundation by which our government was formed and supposed to operate. Anything outside of those bounds was considered to be tyrannical by our founding fathers. It time to take the lead and stand up on principle rather than to be led and run around offering entitlements.

One of the major issues that has been raised with the proposed health reform is the idea of forcing all US residents to purchase health insurance. A reporter in Monday’s press conference asked press secretary Robert Gibbs about whether or not the White House has verified the Constitutionality of such a measure. It turns out Gibbs was unable to answer that question making it more clear that the administration is putting very little emphasis on whether the final product they pass is within the government’s constitutional authority. Now I know many of you will tell me about how blatantly it violates our constitution to begin with. My point in all of this is to point out that not only is the administration grabbing authority over something it is not allowed to control, but that there isn’t even a remote effort to reconcile that at any kind of level.

People love to point toward the mandate that people have auto insurance but you need to keep in mind something they are not telling you there. The auto insurance mandate is enacted at the state level. It is not federal law and therefore is not in the jurisdiction of the commerce clause of the constitution like they try to draw that mandate from. Keep in mind health care is not a tradable commodity and I find it rather silly that it is to be considered such when insurance companies cannot do business across state lines to begin with. There is just too much on the books that contradicts each other. When you go directly to the constitution, not to case-law, you cannot go wrong. I equate it with going directly to a primary source for information. That way you’re not interpreting an interpretation your reviewing the actual text and making an informed decision for yourself – which seems to be lacking in the Country today.

Do any of you remember the people who lined the streets in Detroit in hopes of getting their share of stimulus money? When I first saw this, a feeling came over me about this country that I have never felt before. Is this what is becoming of our country today, with streets being filled with people begging for handouts. These people are the exact kind of sheep this administration wants all of you to be. They want you to become uneducated dependents of the government. It’s sick today to see tens of thousands of people in a country like this flock to an area and push each other to the point of becoming an angry mob over the rumor that someone might be giving out free cash. They didn’t give a second’s thought to where this money might be coming from. We’ve gotten to a point in this country where some people actually look at this president as some sort of savior. It is this attitude by people today that is becoming an increasing danger to the stability of our republic.

On my radio program two weeks ago, I read an article on the air about the potential of seeing food riots in the country by the year 2012. That prediction was made by a reputable trend forecaster. After seeing this display in the streets of a city not even two weeks ago, stemming from a rumor that they might get a check from the government that would pay their bills, I honestly believe the potential of food riots is rising. Look at our dependence on imported food. Just walk through any grocery store and take a look at the size of the section for local grown food. If our imports were cut off, we could easily be a couple days away from that happening. That discounts several other major economic factors including the falling American dollar, rising unemployment and an ever-increasing national debt.

If this country is going to even be recognizable by the time your grandchildren are born and grow up, than we have a lot of work to do. It’s time to start religiously combating the attitude among people today in which people fail to grow up and realize they need to work hard and take responsibility for themselves and their family. Life isn’t meant to be easy. Some people have it rough – but we as fellow Americans get up take responsibility and help ourselves, and help those in need only long enough to get them back on their feet. There is strength in Americans helping out fellow Americans so long as it is not under the coercion of the government. Such an idea, although it may sound nice, is counterproductive to a free society and leaves too much opportunity open for corruption. This era of endless subsidies must end before it destroys us.

Don’t take my word for it just take a look at an example in history in which government provided services led to the meltdown of one of the greatest empires in history, the Roman Empire. It began when the Roman government decided to curb the rising cost of grain in 123 BC. Each citizen under Gais Gracchus was guaranteed a monthly ration at a lower fixed rate. This opened up a chain reaction of events that led to the ultimate economic collapse of the empire. In 62 BC, Clodius, in a very popular decision, made the monthly ration of grain free. As a result, demand among the citizenry skyrocketed and the government was overwhelmed. Julius Caesar attempted to solve this problem by trying to limit the number of people qualified to receive this monthly ration of grain, and from then on things just got worse and worse.

This example of the Roman Empire’s economic collapse draws the most concise parallel between history and what is going on in our government today. Instead of people having a right to an affordable grain ration, we’re talking about people having a right to affordable health care. Just like Caesar tried to reduce the number of eligible grain recipients to alleviate the financial burden, our government will disqualify people from receiving health benefits because of age, cost, etc. All you have to do is bring back the image of the people flocking to the streets of Detroit, pushing and shoving hoping to get their ration of free government money, not to mention health care. In time if we nationalize the system that’s exactly what will happen. We will see more people lined up hoping to get their fair share of free health care.

As Americans now we have two choices: we can defy history and nationalize the system, and thus repeat it likes the many times it has run its course already, or we can resist it on constitutional grounds. In order for us to be successful though, it will be a long uphill battle. The massive network of entitlements has been long in the making and began many decades ago. It is a battle that will be won by educating the people of this country and standing up on the same principles that founded this great nation.

I cant help but wonder why more people are not seeing the corrupt double standard evolve in Washington today. It’s so frustrating to see the very same people, who supposedly cared so much about our troops when they were demanding a withdrawal from Iraq during the Bush administration, virtually hang them out to dry when it comes to Afghanistan. When I think about how young those people on the ground overseas are, It just makes me more and more angry with our politicians. They have turned what could have been a relatively short offensive into something long and drawn out, not because the American military is incapable, but rather because their hands are tied behind their backs every step of the way, through these absurd rules of conduct that have been imposed on them. They can’t do anything without the fear of being gutted by some phony lawyer for some front group here in the US.

Take into account what the Obama administration has done so far this year. He reappointed General McChrystal to head the campaign in Afghanistan/Pakistan region. That man, who is over there on the ground witnessing everything, came back and told the President (the purported Commander-in Chief) that more troops are needed to get the job done effectively. The president said that he would not approve further deployments unless the General had a strategy for the campaign. Now the question that comes to mind is that our Commander-in-Chief doesn’t know what our strategy in Afghanistan is??? incompetence is an understatement for something as preposterous as that.

Now why is it that the one thing that is really urgent has been shoved aside because the President wants to “take his time to get it right?” It seems that when it cames to our economy we couldn’t get things done fast enough once he took office. When it came to the stimulus and the bailouts that was all an emergency despite the ineffectiveness of the legislation. Health Care is another one that is so urgent that once it is signed into law, it wont take effect until 2013. If you haven’t noticed a conflict of interests by this point your nearsightedness may have degenerated into blindness.

Today we also find out that more funds have been diverted from our ailing troops for pet projects. YES MONEY TAKEN DIRECTLY OUT OF THE DEFENSE BUDGET. About 2.6 Billion dollars that would normally be put towards, refueling, ammunition, and combat training have been earmarked for things like a memorial institute for Ted Kennedy and a world war II museum at a University in Louisiana. Tell me how this in any way is ethical or even makes sense. The quicker the 2010 election comes, the better… at this point, because our current government is hopelessly corrupt and incompetent on so many levels.

There has been discussion all over the place about the cost of the new proposed insurance overhaul that is sitting in Congress today and how we are going to fund it. We know Obama has promised us that this plan will somehow in his state of mind be passed as deficit nuetral, but that we would not have tax increases. Well if you somehow thought that he was lying then you were on the right track, because new taxes is exactly where we are headed. Among the latest proposed tax hikes is a plan sitting in the house of representetives right now. They are debating whether or not they want to tax “high cost” insurance plans, which means anything more than $8,000 for an individual and more than $21,000 for a family.

What The Democrats don’t want you to know is that this is not going to bring in more revenue for the government. Rather, It will, in effect, take more people off these high cost plans – that they are paying for, and consequentially force them onto a government option. This is all a scheme by the left to bring down those who are succesful at the expense of those in lower income brackets. It is redistribution of wealth or in more plain terms, it is stealing. You can only hurt the economy by bring those down who have the greatest potential to make sounds investments and have the best financial security. In effect you are taking someone who can afford the high cost plan and limiting hat they are allowed to get for themselves. Is this what we call fairness in society, I call this a violation of private property rights because the money you earn is your private property. It is the product of you investing your time on this Earth in exchange for a profit to sustain yourself.

These people in Congress are truly crooked, corrupt individuals. They have a total disregard for the American dream and seek to increase there power over the individual and undermine the rights of citizens in this country. They look to rather than build up the less fortunate like they should, they are waging war on those who are independent of the government’s aid. More people under their plan means more power and authority over your life.

Things are escalating to scary levels in out country. As we continue to watch what has been going on at the UN, it seems that the general consensus among many of our leaders is the idea of a universal world government. The reasoning behind this is that the universal body would have the authority to punish other nations for not complying with certain environmental or economic regulations. This country was never intended to be ruled by a universal world conglomerate, in fact our founders worked very had to establish our independence from any other world authority. It is not in the best ineterest of our country or the American people.

The same people who are so adamently opposed to our military presence in other countries seem to be pushing very hard to make it so our economic presence is. What I mean by that is the billions of dollars we are pouring into other nations for purported charity operations. As a country, this is costing us mch more than any war has and it is an unsustainable way of doing business. You can ship US money into other countries without some sort of a return. Cash for Clunkers is a primary example of that. We financed a 3 billion dollar program to send a bunch of scrap metal to China that we will end up buying back from them, and people wonder why we are angry. That is paying china to then go and make a profit off our own material!

The American people need to come to the realization that this country isn’t approaching socialism anymore. In many aspects of our economy, we are aleady there. We have built up a massive welfare state that has a large number of people in our population dependent on it. We are about to overhaul our private health care system on tax payers dollars to fund a government provided option. This, once again is a large welfare operation rooting in taking from those who have to give to those who don’t have. Even private property itself is under attack, whether its the 30+ percent of your paycheck that gets taken away from you before you even get to see it, or a more tangible approach like in cap and trade. You lose the freedom to sell your house if its not up to environmentally friendly standards.

The Bottom line in this country is we are seeing a massive political campaign against the very principal on which this country was founded on, individual liberty – the right or the individual to live freely and do what he pleases with the product of HIS OWN labor. It’s time for people to start picking a side in this idealogical battle. Are you for the protection of life, freedom and private property rights, or are you going to side with the bureaucrat? There is no middle ground. Freedom is such a fragile right that it must be fought for and protected or you will lose it.
